Театри малих форм української традиції як феномен розвитку сценічного мистецтва ХХ–ХХI століть

Abstract

Розглянуто причини появи, процес еволюційних видозмін театрів малих форм західноєвропейської традиції з поступовим виокремленням їх характерних ознак, репертуарної політики, синтезу засобів виразності, гедоністичної спрямованості. Проаналізовано вплив зарубіжних театрів малих форм на формування означених інституцій на теренах України у ХIХ столітті. Визначено відмінності вітчизняних інституцій в аспекті драматургічно-змістовної наповненості вистав. Розглянуто репертуарний контекст та уподобання глядацької аудиторії різних регіонів України дореволюційного (1917) періоду з наданням переваг у формуванні репертуарної політики означених інституцій. Виявлено докорінні видозміни в художньо-естетичних запитах нового глядача робочого походження з метаморфозами тематичної спрямованості вистав у нових соціокультурних реаліях. Висвітлено особливості становлення театрів малих форм на західноукраїнських землях до 1939 року з різновекторною спрямованістю репертуарної політики у контексті переосмислення класичного національного репертуару ХIХ століття. З’ясовано експериментальні пошуки нових моделей утілення вистав. Визначено концепт застосування української обрядовості як підґрунтя формування репертуару вітчизняних театрів малих форм. Схарактеризовано функціональне призначення звичаїв і обрядів українського етносу у контексті застосування календарних, сімейно-родинних, релігійних свят і традицій в репертуарних виставах камерних театральних форматів. Досліджено режисерський аспект сценічних утілень українських традицій у вітчизняних театрах малих форм загалом та Київського — «Дзеркала» зокрема з диференціацією репертуару за інтересами, запитами та уподобаннями різних вікових категорій: дитячо-юнацької, молодіжної, зрілої. Доведено, що обрядовість сприяє збагаченню сценічної мови, підсилює емоційний та смисловий вплив вистав, а також виконує важливу ідентифікаційну функцію, актуалізуючи національну культурну пам’ять глядача. Обґрунтовано режисерські підходи до інтерпретації поняття «театри малих форм», які диференціюються залежно від вікової аудиторії та її психологічних і естетичних потреб.

The reasons for the emergence and the process of evolutionary changes in the theaters of small forms within the Western European tradition are examined, along with the gradual identification of their characteristic features, repertoire policy, synthesis of means of expression, and hedonistic orientation. The influence of foreign small form theaters on the formation of these institutions in Ukraine in the 19th century is analyzed. Differences in domestic institutions in terms of dramaturgical and content-related aspects of the performances are identified. The repertoire context and the preferences of the audience in different regions of Ukraine during the prerevolutionary (pre-1917) period are considered, with a focus on the influence on the formation of the repertoire policy of these institutions. Fundamental changes in the artistic and aesthetic demands of the new working-class audience are revealed, with metamorphoses in the thematic direction of performances in new socio-cultural realities. The peculiarities of the development of small form theaters in the Western Ukrainian lands before 1939 are highlighted, with a focus on the varying directions of repertoire policy in the context of rethinking the classical 19th-century national repertoire. Experimental searches for new models of performance implementation are explored. The concept of applying Ukrainian ritualism as a foundation for the formation of the repertoire in domestic small form theaters is defined. The functional role of the customs and rituals of the Ukrainian ethnic group is characterized in the context of incorporating calendar, family, and religious holidays and traditions into the repertoire of chamber theater formats. The study examines the directorial approaches to staging Ukrainian traditions in domestic theaters of small forms, with particular attention to Kyiv’s "Dzerkalo" theater. It is proven that ritualism contributes to enriching the language of performance, enhancing the emotional and semantic impact of the performances, and serves as an important identification function, activating the national cultural memory of the audience. The in estigation substantiates directorial approaches to differentiating theatrical repertoires in accordance with the interests, needs, and preferences of various age groups, including children and adolescents, youth, and mature audiences.
